Betonrossi Impianto

The new Lazise, plant offers the construction and concrete sector a  cutting-edge and innovative model. The production plant is housed inside a large industrial building and not in the open-air, thus limiting the environmental impact on its surroundings. A choice that, once more, highlights the company’s social and environmental awareness.

Betonrossi has again come up with a “pilot project” that will soon become the symbol and model for future production facilities. The architectural design is characterised by the strong curves of the roof and of the façade overlooking the countryside on the north side. This design has resulted in an  architectural construction that, thanks to its curves, does not stand in stark contrast with the surrounding countryside but instead offers a soft profile that blends in and lessens its visual impact.

From a technical point of view, the facility is in fact a twin batching and mixing plant for the production and supply of ready-mixed concrete to two premix loading points; equipped with 4 aggregate receiving hoppers at ground level, a vertical bucket elevator and dual frame aggregate storage hoppers divided into 6 compartments.

The plant is also equipped with two SUN 3000 planetary mixers and CE-approved weighing systems. The facility is designed for a production of 2 x 75-80 cu.m/hour of ready-mixed concrete with an applied mix time of 30 seconds. Finally, the quality control for the entire production system is continuous and provided by two programs with separate control panels and automation by network linked PCs. The extremely sophisticated software has a memory capable of storing 2000 different formulae, each with its own code. The selected formula is managed in terms of the quantities of the single ingredients, the mixing and discharge time, as well as the loading sequence for the mix.

In addition, the water used in the production process is treated and recycled by a Betonwash system. The system also treats rain water runoff from the site, in that the recycling plant is a closed circuit designed to prevent any contact with groundwater.
